The Artists Behind

Muddy Creek Studio

Founded in 1972, Muddy Creek Studio is a charming creative space nestled in the heart of Haines, Oregon. It offers a serene environment for artists and creators to explore their craft and find inspiration in the tranquil surroundings.

production assistant

Hailey Miguez

Hailey started assisting Terri in her Muddy Creek Studio in 2012.  With very little experience or interest working with clay, a job that was a temporary hiatus turned into a life-long obsession.  She took on everything Terri had to teach, and now enjoys creating charming pieces inspired by nature and the Oregon landscape she grew up in.

With the help of two other assistants — Caitlin Knight & Audrey Hindman — Muddy Creek Studio is a busy and productive place!
